Good luck with those Harbor Freight gauges. I had to swap them out three different times at the local store for different reasons. I ended up getting some better gauges off of amazon.com.
Brian, my suspicions as well, although they advertise 2% accuracy. I work in instrumentation for a large chemical company (DuPont), and regularly use high precision calibration equipment. Just let me say, they surprisingly fell within the 2% they claim when tested. They tested perfectly for leak-test as well. Did I mention $48 on sale and with a coupon?! I couldn't resist. I also couldn't bring myself to struggle with just the Wally world low-side inaccurate built-in fill gauge. A cheap set of gauges can conceivably save that much in wasted fillers, Freon and time, in addition to parts. It beat having nothing. Now to just be able to interpret the readings.
