The other weekend I went to work trying to pull my seized motor in Expy I just bought. Right before I started to unbolt it from the tranny I tried one more time to spin that crank... sure enough she broke free! Spent a week soaking her with jb blaster and cranking her over. Spent a good chunk of change buying new plugs and coils and a new battery.

Heres the crazy part. The day before I was going to put her all back together and try and get her running I accidentally came across a video on YouTube of my truck knocking like a mamba jamba! So now I'm back to square one trying to get few extra bones for another motor.

I figure for now I'm gonna look out for 97/98 and start working on the interior/exterior and then get some cash together for a lightning motor.

Just thought I would share my funny story, small world after all.

Questions for y'all...

Ive got a center console that has two empty spots. One I know if for the rear radio controls. The other I have no idea. I hope you can help me here.

Also I've got a hole in the head liner I don't know what goes there... looks like a rear TV? Also my expedition is the only one I've seen with no interior lights and no rear ac?

Finally got some time and pulled the motor and the transmission and transfer case. Also went out and bought a donor truck. Thought i would share... Can't complain, 1100 for the expedition and 700 for the f150.

this looks like a former police vehicle...that what came with that rubber floor covering...the hole in the headliner was for a police video cam controls...the upper opening on the rear of your console is for heat and a/c controls..

Tom I'm glad your here... I've been lost but it all makes since now XD lol

An old police truck would be cool... I've thought a lot about taking an expedition with a smaller lift and making it "police edition". I'm not sure what the laws are though about having the lights on the truck!

Also with the hole in the headliner, I've been thinking maybe ill put like a 22" flip down monitor but i don't know if that will be to big.... Anyone running that big or close to that of a flip down??

So in three weekends I've pulled the motor/ transmission out of the lifted expedition and the f150. I've also put the motor /trans/transfer case back in the in expedition. This is the thrid weekend and I've literally eatin one meal and maybe 8 hours of sleep.... But she's alive!

She has a few exhaust leaks, also i have miss placed the vacuum adaptor the goes 2into1 on the passenger side of the throttle body. shes is still runing a little rough but she fired right up... Not bad for my very first motor swap..

Question though the front tires has a slight negative camber and when i drove it it seemed like the tired were almost loose... I'm thinking wheel bearings?
