so over the weekend i made a custom air intake, using 2 3in rubber couplers, 1 long rubber elbow, to pieces of 3" PVC( one about 6 or 7" long and another about 16" long), the stock MAF sensor, stock IAT sensor, and part of the stock piece that connects the elbow to the TB.
this is what it looks like

this is the piece of PVC that goes from the elbow towards the TB its beveled to match the inside of the elbow to help reduce turbulence

this is the beveled edge of the 16in PVC that connects to the stock MAF sensor its beveled from the inside out to match the inside diameter of the MAF

this is the stock MAF sensor, once removed from the giant air filter box, the is 2 bolts hold it to the big end, removed that then slimmed down the one end that goes from 3 to 4 inches so that it would fit snug over the air filter rubber connector thingy the other end fits perfectly into a 3 rubber coupler.

then somewhere a long the 16" PVC we drilled a 5/16's hole, i put mine about middle and to the side so it was easily excess-able and fit the IAT sensor, which i had to cut out of the stock flex hose, it fits snug right away but will need to put some rubber gasket around it to seal it and make it stay.
