No. I did not post a "pig pick."These aren't your quotes? And you didn't post a pig pick, and you aren't argumentative and insulting?
"I can't express how obnoxious this is and frankly I doubt either one of you actually did it. You are a menace to our society."
"Prove it. Do your Internet search, apply what you learned, and report back. Needless to say, I disagree with you, but I'd love to be proven wrong."
Also, there in NOT much ForScan info for the 2024 and 2025. So, it's all experimental trial and error for those who are willing to be a beta tester. That's why it is important to use the as built section only. Manually changing codes that work on a 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 or 2023 may brick the system or at least cause a malfunction or error on a 2024 or 2025. So, it's best to either not experiment or at least backup in the beginning, then perform one mod at a time, and if successful, backup again.
And to clear up the question about warranty: Ford and the dealerships may not be too concerned about simple mods like signal amount, lighting, etc., but may void the warranty for other mods. I recently took my Ex in for a TSB that was covered by warranty. I was lucky I personally know the service manager, because he informed me a couple of my mods, like BMS, tranny, etc. voided my warranty, but he wasn't going to do anything about it. He suggested I flash back to my saved factory before I bring it in next time or I may not be so lucky. He also told me they can see every mod and the date it was done, but the chances they will look at the history is slim.
If you understand how computer systems work, and our vehicles are being run, monitored and diagnosed by one, you would know there is always a log. I can go on your PC or laptop and see apps and files that were installed and deleted, websites you have visited, all updates and more. They can be erased with a factory reset and deep wipe on the hard drive.I would interested in them proving this. This seem like smoke and mirrors.

Please stop posting in this thread. You don't own a 5th Gen and you've dragged us into multiple pages with more unnecessary speculation and assumptions. We're all adults and we are aware of the risks with Forscan. Please stop being rude, insulting and argumentative? You can block me if you like, but you can't tell me to not post. Since you are new, you obviously don't understand forums. And for the record, you have posted many nonhelpful information posts here. So, look in the mirror before lashing out irresponsibly. And for the record I have performed mods on several 5th gen with above average success. Please stop posting in this thread. Are you not familiar with the euphamism 'pig pile?' When more than one person challenges or takes issue with another person's viewpoint, is can be called a 'pig pile,' similar to how piglets will pile on top of one another.I stand corrected @tangbang posted it. That's immature and definitely nothing to do with Expeditions.
But the posts are definitely yours!
I do understand computers system as I’m a network engineer. However Ford keeping those logs for the thousands of vehicles seems very unlikely. Storage cost money even if these log files are small. If you understand how computer systems work, and our vehicles are being run, monitored and diagnosed by one, you would know there is always a log. UPDATE: No way to disable Auto Stop/Start right now via software in Forscan. Looks like if you want it it's gonna be a hardware mods for now. Was able to disable all of the seat belt nags and turn on proper approach experience.Hey all! New to the Expedition life but I have about 10 years of Forscan experience on many vehicles so I am going ot be hooking up to the Expedition today to see what I can make of it. I can document my journey to disable Auto S/S and report back.
Vehicle: Agate Black 2025 Expedition Tremor

What is proper approach experience? I have a few years experience with Forscan on my past F-150 trucks but I havent heard of that.UPDATE: No way to disable Auto Stop/Start right now via software in Forscan. In Forscan you see it as Lincoln Experience but I've never had a vehicle that enabling that worked for. Instead you just have to set all of the items you like to activate when you lock or unlock but more closely to the "Lincoln Experience" when you approach the vehicle the lights turn on and the car softly wakes up. You would think an expedition would be set to be like this from the facotry but mine wasn't.What is proper approach experience? Something I noticed was that putting the Expedition in "Sport" mode triggers the Auto S/S to turn off. I thought there may be a back door to setting the TCM to go into Sport mode everytime you crank the vehicle but cant do that either. Also, dealing with the 4wd shift when going into sport mode is a nuisance.Kinda what we expected. Even on my 20' expy and 24' bronco.......an eliminator was used. The good news is that at least 2 of us here installed the 4D unit and it works like a charm. Cheap too. And, if you for some reason wanted the start/stop to work as normal, it can.
Yes, simple, cheap, quick, easy and effective. And 100% reversible if you want to remove it. And allows to use the on/off switch if for some reason you want to re-enable auto start/stop....
You're right though. Simple cheap solution is the 4dTech eliminator or similar. For Now.
I got ya!! Thanks for the explaining that. My expedition only does this when I unlock the doors too. I don't know if I want it to do it when I walk past it though, since I have my phone set as a key. Would it do it every time I walked past it with my phone? In Forscan you see it as Lincoln Experience but I've never had a vehicle that enabling that worked for. In my F-250 Approach mode does the followingwhen I get close to the vehicle with key in my pocket.
DRL's, Parking lights, and the puddle lights turn on.
Mirrors fold out.
Running boards come down.
In the expedition from factory nothing happened but I was able to make the following work.
DRL's, Parking lights, and zone lighting turn on.
Mirrors fold out.
TBH I dont know that so I went out and tried it out. With just my phone on me and my phone as a key as well it doesnt do it. With the key fob it does it. They only time its ever been annoying is when I lock it and it folds up and I go out to check mailbox or something and forget my fob is in my pocket and it will "wake up" but I'll deal with it.I got ya!! I dont think there is a sheet available that I've been able to find. The changes I've made are all of the convenient changes so no need to reference any AS-BUILT variables.Did you reference the gen 4 expy forscan spreadsheet for the changes you did make?
