I dont think there is a sheet available that I've been able to find. The changes I've made are all of the convenient changes so no need to reference any AS-BUILT variables.
Do you mind posting the specific modules you changed and what values were substituted for them?

Yes, My wife drives the car though so when she gets back this evening i will try to get out there and plugged back in and see if i can capture every change i've made.

One thing to note for anyone that purchases the 4d Tech Start/Stop eliminator is that if you set any of the modules that have "Start / Stop" to disable the 4D Tech eliminator wont work. I found that out the hard way.

Thank you. Did you reference the gen 4 expy for your changes or another ford vehicle (that we already have spreadsheets on)?

There hasn't been but one version of an Expedition FORSCAN sheet EVER, and even that one does not exist anymore. As far as Expedition FORSCAN changes go, I have probably been involved in 90% of what was figured out on previous models. The Expedition has ALWAYS been a unique animal as far as modules...and DOES not follow suit with many other Ford vehicles. Hasn't for MANY years.

Let's clarify a few things that were discussed in this thread while I have been away.

@jtsinger Did nothing wrong in this thread. Said nothing out of hand...but was a bit aggressive about saying people weren't allowed to comment...it is the Internet after all. Nothing Mod worthy...and I would know.

Disabling the BMS on ANY Modern Ford whether physically or via software is just plain moronic. The module is used to monitor...wait for it...the battery. Turning it off prevents the BCM, and PCM from knowing that voltage, and can cause MANY issues. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The Start/Stop physical modules are the way to go, period.

Yes, especially on ANY OTA equipped Ford like the 25+ Expeditions, ford can and does log ALL programming in all CANBUS connected modules. It is not instantaneous by any means. Like if you made a change, and an hour later reversed...that change was most likely not sent. Do they care, nope, and the threat made above by the Service manager was crap. Disabling the BMS though, could possibly do damage, because of lack of voltage control...so I would defend that.

@Mr Big Made an excellent point though, make sure you back up ANY module you modify with FORSCAN BEFORE you modify it, even if using the drop down menus. Can't stress that enough.

Have had to pull AS Built data for people before because they screwed something up.

Long time lurker, first time poster. In case it is of help to anyone, this page has lots of FORScan resources, including a 2024 Expy spreadsheet:
I had implemented the body control module auto start/stop disable on my 2023 Navigator L that also disabled the BMS. I didn't like that, so I immediately restored the factory setting, and used the spreadsheet to disable it through the PSCM AS BUILT 730-03-01 xxxx xxxx x0xx edit. Appears to work. Now if only I cold get the transmission fluid temp display mod to work.

The MM act is only as enforceable as what your lawyers can prove against FMC lawyers.
Better have deep pockets for your lawyers, and years and years to sit and wait because delays to litigate..

I've had many many Fords that I've used the Forscan tool on. I've worked with and designed multiplexing equipment my whole career (multiplexing is how all the modules on the vehicles interact & communicate with each other)

My personal preference that I arrived at years ago is to use Auto-Stop Eliminator. I like the hardware that just simply mimics pressing the button on the dash. That way there is zero question about what cause and effect that can happen when modifying values that other modules might have a dependency to call the hex byte that's been edited.

That might explain the CEL posts I've been seeing because the installed tech has been updated. My knee-jerk reaction was to look at the newest F-150 As-Built values and compare, but I'm quickly seeing that there are many differences. I pulled my As-Built file off of Motorcraft this morning.

I'm going to stick with Autostop Eliminator myself. You can also just turn auto-stop back on if you wish to use it (or before a repair at a dealership) and because you haven't modified the vehicle, no warranty questions if for some reason a BCM or other module has a problem.

Just a thought,

The simple safe fix would be at the switch on the dash. Locate the pin or mod the actual contact (no/nc) on the switch and add a current sensing circuit that enables a change of state at the contact inputs.

I am not sure about the one they sell, maybe it ques on the inductive pad for your phone.

If I go there I will post my findings.

If that's the case you could remove the switch and possibly be able to change the wiring to switch the original starting position from on to off? I've never investigated it as I work on other people's vehicles and will not physically modify their vehicles.

If you disable the BMS with forscan it will disable the auto start stop. But you’ll also get an error light on dash.
I don’t think anyone in ‘22+ was able to do it to Expy with forscan alone. If they have I haven’t found it.
I use 4D Tech's little harness on our 2025 Tremor. Took about a minute. No error msgs, just indicators that A S/S is "Off" just like you get when you switch it off yourself.

Mr Big,

In the digital environment it is not about the switch itself as NO/NC but after the system loads (boots up) it is looking for a change in state at the input device. That switch is likely a push button that sends a momentary change in state. Think of it as a designated letter on a keyboard.

The old way was easier for circuit builders, mechanics. Today you need to know digital systems. Field devices are still analog but the signal is converted into digital for the software to read and command.

MCbobhall,

There ya go!

As the add says:

FEATURES:

  • Simple plug n' play install - No tools
  • Memorizes start/stop preference
  • Will not void warranty
  • Maintains remote start
  • 30 day money back guarantee
  • Free same day shipping
  • Emissions compliant

COMPATIBILITY:

  • 2025 & 2026 Ford Expedition

INSTALLATION:

  • NO tools required! Simply plug in line with the two connectors at the module under the driver's side dash.

Easy day,

If I built it myself I would spend three times what this one cost.... and it would not be so small.

Thanks!

To be clear, DISABLE BMS = BAD!!!

NEVER use the disable BMS method on ANY modern Ford.

The fact that this became an acceptable solution for something that could be solved by pressing a FN button on your dash is the epitome of laziness!!! Ask me how I REALLY feel.

Buy the harness...or hold on...press the button.

Also, to be clear, it CAN be turned off in the coding, but you need an aftermarket tune. Anyone who uses HP Tuners can 100% turn it off, without the negatives of disabling the BMS.

Under PSCM module configuration, find Start/Stop, change it from "Enabled with angle inhibit" to "Disabled"
Worked for me, no error messages. Will update if anything changes

Agreed. Being that it’s one of the only physical buttons in the vehicle, I think I can handle pressing it as needed.
