Door sensor chiming

Does any one know how to stop this noise it's almost like a door isnt closed or making contact . The door ajar isnt on it's just chiming while I'm driving it stops then continues what causes this how to fix it ? Also it does come on and stop but comes back on ??? Help annoying while driving

Chime is the drivers door thinks its open
WD40 in the door catch, lock and unlock the door as you do it

replace the door switch or remove it and put the pin of the switch in a cordless drill and spin it while working in in and out slightly with oil
