If anyone is thinking about doing the "airsoft pellet" dynamic tire balancing method, here's a chart of how much to use. I'm having the real stuff put in my 35s next week.

I've found out that the old "sand" style of balancing material is pretty much gone, since it is so sensitive to moisture. I say good riddance, that stuff didn't work at all on my 33s when I tried it 8 - 10 years ago. Hopefully this new stuff will do the trick.

What exactly is this process? Sounds cool. is it just a bunch of material put into the tire and it automatically balances out while driving?

That's really about it. Although it seems that the material has come a long way in recent years, it used to be almost like sand, now it's tiny ceramic beads.

They used stuff from this company http://www.techtirerepairs.com/_assets/documents/Tech_International_Catalog_20050810.pdf

it's on page 33

I haven't driven much highway since they put the stuff in, but it seems like it is doing the trick.

All the literature says that the tires will never have to be balanced again... we'll see.
