The auto headlight, the inside light when I open the door not working and the radio will stay on after turning off the car and opening the door. My car is 2003 ed. Everything was working normal a night before that what I noticed so far. I checked the fues and all of them are good. I am thinking it might be the Gem contral. Any ideas?

your 03 expedition DOES NOT have a gem module
Sounds like the problem may be the door switch.
Can you read and understand electrical diagrams?
Do you have any electrical test equipment ie: DVM, Test Light?
Does this happen with all the doors or just one door?

I am not that good with the diagrams but maybe you can walk me through it. I have a test light and I can get a DMV but also I am not that good with it.

I checked all doors and lift gate NO ajar warning light.

bare with me on this

Make sure all doors are closed.
Start the expy then shut it down and remove the key
DO NOT open the doors but see if your windows operate after you shut if off and remove key

do you have your owners manual as it will show the location and number for the fuses and relays

When you checked the fuses was the key in the Ign.?
was the engine running or was it off.

DID YOU CHECK BOTH SIDES OF THE FUSE?? this is very important

once you shut the engine off and remove the key the widows will operate for a set time period but when the door is opened they should no longer operate

the attached is a copy of the fuse block for the 03 expy It may appear different than what is in the owners manual

Look at this print and you will see the large relays I would like you to remove C2075 Acc Delay Relay and replace it with the C2110 Trailer tow relay Then try the windows again and see if the radio shuts off when the door is opened

I tried it and still the radio kept working. Also, I noticed that the doors won't lock after I drive.
