Engine Block Heater

I realize engine block heaters are not essential for gas engines, however I'm curious how many people use them?(ie those of us who don't have heated garages) My Expy('12) had one installed at the factory and I'm definitely going to take advantaged of it over the next couple days here in the midwest.

It is much easier on the engine. Having the block (coolant) heated up!

Most block heaters in Canada are installed on gas engines.
