any-who..a few weeks ago someone had a problem with lift gate closing then reopening after it closed.
i commented our 2012 edge was doing this sporadically as well.
i finally found out what was causing it.
the rear lifgate seal on the lower edge was loose and sat higher and jammed when the door came down, i believe this added tension or sense of an object was making the liftgate reopen like it hit some thing
i found it last week while on vacation and it did it...it was luck i noticed the seal sticking to the door a bit and i think thats what caused it to pull up.
