Fenders and doors

I've got a 2001 Expy XLT that has damaged driver-side front fender and door. Due to age, it's becoming hard to locate these items. I've heard that F150 fenders and doors are identical so, my question is; are 1997-2001 Expy items replaceable with the same years F150 items? Are all years identical?

Fenders are the same. Trim may differ. From what I hear, doors may work from some pickup models (crew cab) with minor modifications. I would stick with Expedition doors only. 97 - 02 Expedition doors and fenders are identical along with hood.
