Hello all from Indianapolis Indiana!
My name is Ben. I just purchased a 1999 XLT AWD 127k miles on the clock. It didn't even make it home. Awd was engaging on highway at 50mph. Thanks to the help on this forum the fuse is currently pulled and I will most likely brown wire mod it. Then it started running like crap. Im thinking I just bought the biggest lemon ever. Blocked Egr passages, torn pcv valve hose and lose spark plug wire. FINALLY after 2 weeks we have 2 days of uneventfull driving. This is my wifes new to her truck. She is short so the adjustable pedals make this the safest driving position she has ever had. Also lots of room for our 1way year old and the baby on the way. There are better condition expeditions out there but this one was in our price range. So now we want to drive it for a while with no issues for a month. That's my goal anyway. Here's a pic.
