And about time! After 5 years of having only 2 little ones to tote around I found somebody with a teenager and was in dire need of an upgrade. Goodbye tiny Avenger and hello massive Expedition!

I just bought myself a 05 Eddie Bauer last week and have been browsing this forum throughout the weekend. Figured I may as well get my awkward hello out of the way and try to get in on the community.

I know where you are coming from. We upgraded from sedan (Ford Focus) to minivan when our oldest two were almost teenagers and our third child came along. When the oldest two hit 18 we went down to a Jeep Patriot. We missed the third row, and when the Patriot was totaled we moved over to an Expedition.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. My first post was awkward lol you did great, not awkward at all. the best way to start getting to know people is to dive right in, very accepting crowd of knowledgeable users on here.

Thanks everybody! I'm still browsing around getting a feel place but putting my two cents in where I can.

Pictures will be coming up soon. I already updated my avatar to display the beast. I'm usually not a fan of green, but I love the color combo of my Expy. I already found a matching Groot keychain and am on the hunt for a nice Groot window decal.

I'm amazed that with the exception of some peeled paint on the front bumper there's no cosmetic damage at all. A few minor (mostly electrical) glitches I need to take care of soon and she'll be right as rain. I can't get over how well this vehicle has held up!
