First time trans problem

Just a quick inquiry. I bought a 2004 2wd Expy a couple weeks ago. 5.4 with 3.73 premium towing package. 118,000 miles. Runs great. Yesterday morning I start it up....put in reverse and back out of driveway. I put in D and nothing...put in 2 and 1 nothing....back in reverse...nothing. I leave in reverse and start pushing vehicle back to clear street and it starts moving on it's own in reverse. I get in and put in in Drive and it goes. No slipping or anything. And has been working fine since. Any thoughts? This is a one time event and just wondering if I have a potential problem on my hands. Any input I will appreciate.

Have you check the trans fluid level.

Fluid level,color and all look fine. I bought a power train warranty so if it does it again I'll have it checked out.

Something happened where it stopped pumping fluid. Keep an eye on it and let us know what you find please.
