Ford Triton spark plug repair

On the video,he uses especial tool with plunger on it,and turns over the engine to drop.Does he uses the crankshaft pulley(which is under alternator,right?) and turns right slowly till it pops out of hole?I am trying to see ,I am turning the right pulley and right way to pop it of whole.TY in advance

And which video are you talking about?

You turn the crank using the balancer bolt, not the pulley.
