Probably a dumb question. But, are there any mods that can be done with forscan for 1st gens?
Probably a dumb answer. I don't have a PC but started using FORScan Lite on an iPhone several months ago, never realized so much data was available for a Gen1. More data, in fact, than I know what to do with.

However, the Lite version "lacks the deep vehicle programming and "as-built" modification features found on the full PC version." Whether or not the full PC version can make those mods on a Gen1...I don't know.

I asked Grok about this, the PC version can change things, like a logarithm but to do “Mods” you need a specific flash system..This is the way I understand it.. I would like to add a few things like fuel rail pressure etc myself..

Apparently, FRP isn't scannable for Gen1's because they don't have a sensor for it.

I had ask this long ago one time, just add a sensor and use a unused pin on the computer to sense what you want.. I’m still looking..
Btw, my rear universal went out on me.. I’m just not able to get under this thing to do something so simple, so I’m going to get my local to do it..
I see a complete differential overhaul in the future
