Interesting fix job he did..... I would not open up the wiper harness unless you know it leaks . That will create one if you didnt already have one

I wouln't recommend causing leaks that you don't have. Don't go breaking something that dosen't need fixing, like removing your wiper arms off without first removing the nuts, or prying your hood open with a crowbar when you can use the release latch inside and using a pickaxe to remove the cowl instead removing the screws and the metal clips that hold it on. But use that thing 2ft above your ass and if you resealed the windshield and still have a leak, check that little black tube (wire loom) that the wiper-motor wires are in. It may have water in it and the water is ending up inside your fuse box/GEM causing it to short circuit and malfunction.

Don't get me wrong "superexpy" I completly understand what your saying.

Are you the one that made that video? If so Good job on taking apart the dash to track that down. I bet it will answer alot of people questions on how water gets to the GEM.
