Ok here's what it's doing. I have a creak like a old door opening when I turn to the right. Only to the right and I know a power sttering squel it's not that. It's a creak. When I steep on the gas from a stop it almost feels like the tires are spinning and its worse when I'm turning.I thought maybe it was stuck in 4wheel but we recently got snow and the rear end started sliding. I tried putting it in 4wheel and found out that won't engage but that for another thread. I can live with no 4x4 but not without the front end. If I go over a big bump that rocks the truck I get a clunk from the drivers side front. I just changed to upper control arm and the ball joint on that side so Im guessing it's something else but I can't recreat because I can't rock the truck enough to make it do it. Also I have a decent amount of pad left on the brakes but when I stop on a hill going down and let off the brakes I get a weird noise that's hard to explain. It's almost like the pad are releasing slow instead of when I let off the pedal. I get this at times not all the time but more on a hill. I figured it's just the weight of the truck pushing on the brakes as I release but it's happens on flat road also. I'm figuring this is just an alignment problem but the steering is very touchy. Meaning if I even slightly move the wheel the truck feels like it's going off the road. The van at work had the same problem but they just dealt with it so I don't know if it's a ford thing or what. It's a 97 expedition 5.4 triton. Any and all help would be appreciated. Sorry this is so long but wanted to make sure I covered everything.

Acctually I forgot to post to let everyone know that it's fixxed. It ended up being the to connectors being wet. I ran a space heater in the truck over night and dryer it and put it all back together and it's up and running again. Well kinda.

The leak was coming from the door. The gasket on the body came apart and it found it's way to the best spot water can find. An electrical connection.
