Hi everyone

got my 2002 XLT more than a month ago, at that time KM reading is about 16900. looks nice and crisp. have a couple of concerns though:

1. Fuel gauge reading fluctuates erratically (from time to time) i.e. from more than 3/4 to less than 3/4, from more than half to 1/4 etc. had the fuel gauge and wiring checked both works properly? so is this normal?

2. It drives a little wobly/shaky, had the bushing replaced already. steering shaking when i hit 70 or 80 km. what seems to be the problem?

hope u can advice me on this. thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site.
There are plenty of threads on here about the problems you listed, use the search function and you will find those plus hours of other useful info to read.

Fuel gauge - not normal - need to drop fuel tank to check the fuel level sender. Might as well change the pump assembly if you do that. There are gauge tests you can also perform to test its accuracy. I would do that from the connector at the fuel tank.

Wobbly - worn components and/or out of round tires. Check for play in the steering and suspension.
