Hello guys,

///2001 XLT///

recently i did an overhaul for the engine 190k+ miles, but sadly the car feels super heavy and doesn't accelerate well.

the gear shifting is fine but it seems the car lost power.

computer scan shows no codes, spark plugs + coils are new. im suspecting that it could be a bad fuel regulator or a weak fuel pump.

so anyone knows how many Psi should the fuel pressure be? accessory switch on + engine running?

also is it normal for the fuel pressure to drop gradually while the engine is running idle?

thx

System should run between 35-45 psi with engine running. Pressure should be constant, runs like crap when psi is in the upper 20's & dies in the lower 20's.
