Anyone here ever hired a clean up crew for their garage? I'm debating on but not sure about it to be honest, like do they just grab whatever is unwanted and they leave or do they also organize the garage and what's not?

I took my second car out of the garage today but I couldn't get in it or even open the door had to slide window down, put in neutral and push it out first it's all full of odd storage items for kids, toys, holiday decorations and some odds and ends like random furniture and mystery storage bins.

Should I hire a service or just take a week vacation and attack it myself? I wanna trade my second car in July for another one that I would prefer to drive more often... Any input.... I know this is one hell of a random subject!

It's a 2 car garage and I want it cleared before winter for my wife to park her car in it so when she's loading kids in and out they don't freeze in the process, my second car (soon to be G37S sedan) will be in an outdoor car bubble on one side of the driveway and the expi is the winter beast so no worries there. I do plan on insulating the garage and have it heated during winter but it needs to be cleaned desperately.

Hey look, it is a nice thought about making room for the wife in the garage. BUT it is OUR domain - and there are rules.....
1) never throw anything out
2) keep it organized
3) when it fills up, as in your case, add bays

I'm usually pretty skeptical of "services" like these. Sounds like you pay a group of strangers to load their truck with your valuable items and they then box and arrange your worthless stuff for a premium. Its your stuff, so I say take a few days to DIY. A lot of charities will come and get reusable items - I've used AMVETS many times.

Few years back I went to IKEA and bought their taller 39" kitchen wall cabinets. Just the cabinet shells, no doors. Each 'box' has 2-3 shelves and have a 25 year warranty. They mount to a rail system that you attach to your wall studs, so 100% removable and can be easily rearranged or reconfigured. You have to put them together, flat packing is how IKEA keeps the cost down.

You'll enjoy your G37S sedan. My wife had a 2013 G37X sedan, was our 3rd Infiniti. A couple years before it we looked at a silver G37S anniversary or some kind of limited edition, was a sedan and had red leather interior. Very sharp car. Seems like the S model added paddle shifters for automatics and not much more, maybe different wheels and Akebono or Brembo brakes.

I have a storage shed due to be assembled in 2 weeks from now to eleminate the garage from being the storage room again so no need for cabinets I do want to have room for two cars for when I need to do repairs to any car while my wife's car is parked inside.

The G I wanted before I got the 335i at the time but I couldn't find what I wanted at the time I wanted a red sedan with the sport package and the manual transmission but there was only one for sale in the entire country and it was so over priced it wasn't even worth the headache. Going to look at one Saturday, Friday evening the BMW goes bye bye.

Called couple places to see if the cost is right then I might avoid loosing a week of vacation but holly smokes never mind man they charge $100 an hour labor per person, and they send crews of two to every call so every hour I'm out $200... Guess I'm taking that vacation after all.
