I changed out my fuel pump in my 04 Expedition this weekend. I am to the point where I am raising and remounting the tank. However, for the life of me I cannot get the vent hose at the top of the tank to connect. The hose is so short that when I raise the tank up high enough to connect the hose, my hands will not fit in the space to connect it and tighten it. Can anyone give any tips on connecting this hose? I am thinking about extending the hose a few inches, but I am not sure if that will mess anything up.
