I’m changing my rear end fluid. The manual call for 75w-85w. That stuff at the dealer is $38 a quart. Any harm in using 75w-90w instead?

Also if you have eLSD, the workshop manual shows that you need friction modifier.

Just bought some from rock auto, $24.89/qt.

I am working through the rear diff, trans pan drop fluid/filter, and front diff on my F150 now and RA is where I found best prices even with shipping.
