Is this the bulletin you are looking for?
I see no mention of "downshifting to 1st(lowest gear) while running at higher speeds" that was mentioned above. Again. CDF related.

The "Significant" describer used earlier in this thread is where my issue lies, and the fact that things were mentioned without any documentation. Not saying that "downshifting to 1st(lowest gear) while running at higher speeds" hasn't happened to anybody, but I would love to see the TSB for it, and the problem cause/resolution.

I agree. Admittedly I went from the first sentence. That was why I thought maybe it was was referring to that bulletin.
It seems to me that downshifting to 1st gear at a higher speed would be widely publicized and generate a TSB. The possibilities of an accident or blown engine would be high, not to mention freak out the driver. I have seen where drivers have had issues where it will drop from 10 to 9 or 8 while driving down the highway at 65 with cruise control. My Ex does it when the road level changes or the vehicle slows down then accelerates, which is normal.

This only affects 34,000 vehicles, and only the re manufactured Trans used as replacements for other issues, and only in some cases is it an issue. Recalls are a thing plaguing all manufactures right now.

Ford led the automotive industry in the number of safety recalls and the number of vehicles recalled for the past three years.

For 2025 they are way out in front of all others with the number of vehicles recalled for safety issues - approaching ten million vehicles (and the number of recall campaigns).

SO. Their largest single recall covering Millions of vehicles involved the backup camera...something many of us don't actually need to backup. That was multiple recall over multiple years.

Man are you missing the point. You said significant. Mentioned a specific recall...that is most likely a TSB and not a recall, and still haven't even supplied any documentation of that. If you are going to make statements...back them up. That is all I am saying...I respect your knowledge and experience, so back it up.
