Got my Truck back

well my truck had to go in for service not 2wks after i had it. Purchased from a Toyota dealer. cel coming on when I pressed the gas pedal to the flr. after a 1 1/2 wks i finally got my truck back. turns out 4 spark plugs and 3 coils went bad. they had to send it to a Ford dealer for the repairs. they replaced all plugs and coils. runs like a champ now.

I did learn my lesson though. I will never buy a car from a dealer that is not their own. smh. No way it should have taken this long to diag plugs and coils.

I hear ya...

Bought mine used from a Ford Dealership... When I found out only 3 spark plugs were ever replaced (109K mi.), it was easier to deal...

They knew I knew what they knew about the 3V spark plug issues... Helped me knock off a grand below asking price... Also they immediately said they'd fix the peeling paint on the back gate... Best 2 TSBs I ever read.
