New to the forums, obviously. I've got 158k miles on my '98 Expedition and I'm still lovin' it. My wife suggested I get a new SUV, but I'm standing by my rig. Thanks for having me.

Well now...thanks for the welcome. Other than the stereo it's all stock, but that's going to change...also the reason I've come to the forum. It started with what I thought might be 'night blindness', but quickly realized it's the headlights getting oxidized/yellow. So I started trolling for that, plus I need new tires so...

Plans are: New lights (xenon with hi/lo maybe), new grill, and then the good stuff...I'm thinking of starting with a modest 1" or 2" lift and getting some real tires, I'm tired of how small the 'recommended' 255/75/16's look. And then maybe some aftermarket engine enhancements.

This project is beginning now, so I'll be searching the forums for tips, maybe ask a couple questions, and then show the results.

To appease the masses, here's a quick pic ('98, 4.6L, 4WD, Prairie Tan):

check this site out.. this is where i am getting my bi xenon hid kits..

life time warranty... and i feel better than buying them from ebay..

they also have some econo kits that are not lifetime warranty

what i have learned from talking with these guys is the HID 55 watt kits don't put out any more heat than a factory halogen bulb... which is a problem with the 35 watt kits and our plastic housings holding up
