Grille Guard

Has anybody installed a Westin HDX grille guard on the 2nd gens? I picked up a Westin HDX for a ‘15 F-150. I know it’s not for the right year but I couldn’t pass up the deal I got on it, and Westin says they don’t offer one for our Expeditions. I know I’m gonna need to make a few modifications and make at least 2 cuts in the bumper cover. I’m trying to see if anybody has any tips that has already done one/ picks of the finished product.

Curious as to what you did. I would imagine it would work as I have a 14 grille guard on my 03 f150 (grille guard needed to be grinded down some) and the 03 expi clip just bolts in to the f150 it looked like some trimming had to be done. I plan on doing a clip swap on to the f150 so did you run into anything funky
