Headlight swith

Can anyone give my advice on how to change my headlight switch? Thanks.

found this on a f150 site. should be the same.

New models have spring clips, i think they changed it mid year in 2000. My 03 has clips.

you have to just pull and give it hell until it feels like its just about to break then it pops loose

Does that mean I don't have to take off any of the dashboard? All I have to do is pry the lightswitch housing out?

Yes. Did this on my '02 F150. Just be careful not to scratch or crack the switch/surround. Be gentle and use a plastic trim prybar if possible.
