Posted this in the Exterior forum but got no responses. I am trying to remove my headlights. The manual says to remove the two 10 MM bolts in front and loosen the Vertical one in the back. The only vertical one I see is the the aiming adjuster if I'm not mistaken. Before I throw off the aim, I want to be sure what I'm doing.

If anybody has pictures that would be great.

Okay, I figured out how to get the headlights out. They were a *****! HIDs installed (thanks ZombieSoldier). While I had them out I installed new Silver Star 4100K highbeam bulbs and new side marker/turn signals Bulbs. I didn't want to have to pull them out again for a long time. I still have to mount the ballasts, I'm not quite sure where I'm going to mount them, I may just tie them up for right now.

I'm taking her on a 1000 mile road trip tomorrow (500 each way).

good deal...this thread never came up until now for "new posts"...the "aiming" bolt isn't the aiming bolt...although it does at minimum give slight adjustment...the aiming bolt is on the backside and sticks out

I put 5k in mine. They are brighter by a couple 100 lumens. See the attached chart.

I've had a chance to drive around with them on a couple of times. I really like them. Very bright. And nobody has flashed theihigh beams at me.
