Well from what I can tell unless there is an inline fuse or a magical 3 fuse box none of the fuses are popped unless its one of the fat relays in the cabin fuse box im totally helpless

Logical Current Flow

Fuse #5 15amp
Lt Blue/Pink wire feeds the DTRS
DTR - Digital Transmission Range Sensor
Black / pink stripe wires - 2 splices after the DTRS
Reverse Lamps in parallel
Ground

Check for power at the fuse - both sides. Check bulbs and for power at the sockets then work back towards the battery.

If fuse is good I'd suspect the DTRS seeing that it is "digital". Should be able to probe the connector with a DVM looking for 12v when in reverse.

Only relay for that circuit is for trailer towing and branches off the black/pink wire - not connected to the lights any other way - doesn't affect them.

Ok so if the relay is not connected to them what so ever why are they continuing to not light up? I am so confused all I know is they sparked and no more lights. I was trying to add extra reverse lights on and I grounded them and then took the positive and put it to the positive in the bulb socket and all was well and then I took the positive out one one and zap they were dead

The way a circuit works is that the electricity is used to do something. In the process of doing whatever there is resistance to flow. That is what the light bulb does when illuminated. When you shorted it to ground there wasn't the resistance and the flow increased beyond the design. If your lucky it only blew the fuse. If your not lucky then it blew the DTRS.
Anytime your working on electrical circuits it is a good habit to disconnect the power supply so that you avoid what has happened.

Don't know what effect it would have if it blew. I would expect it to at least throw a code, worse case it would not shift into gear.

Speedo is on a different circuit and uses the pcm with the osss to calculate vehicle speed.

pcm = powertrain control module
osss = output shaft speed sensor

Every thing works like a charm except for the reverse lights other than that shifts and drives
