Hey everyone,
I'm new here, and am actually helping my parents out with their expedition. The story is, they took it to a shop for some diff work a while ago. The other day, I noticed their rear swaybar was hanging down. I assume the mechanic forgot to tighten down the swaybar bracket bolts, and they of course backed out.
They have a 2002 4wd.
So I'm trying to find a replacement set of: 2 Brackets, 2 Bushings, 4 Bolts and Washers. I believe the rear bar is 22mm.
The problem is, I measured the bolt holes and they appear to be 4in center to center. Which no one seems to supply for the universal bushing sets.
I've been searching all over with no luck. And Ford doesn't seem to make them any longer.
I need to know the following:
-Where can I get a bracket/bushing set that will work?
-What are the specific bolt sizes?
-Are there normally washers used?
Part numbers and links would be so helpful!
Thanks everyone!
Edit: I would prefer an aftermarket bushing/bracket set to give them a little upgrade
