i need help i have a 99 ford expedition xlt 5.4 with 4x4. my truck blew a code for a maf sensor yesterday and not ever 24 hours later after normal driving it wont start im getting crank but no fire will the maf sensor do that? if not what should i look for? btw i already changed the coils and the spark plugs and just bought a new battery

Yes, a bad MAF could cause the truck not to start. They're easy to replace and relatively cheap, so it's worth a shot. You could also try getting some MAF cleaner and try to clean it first.

Are you sure your getting fuel? Do you have access to a fuel pressure guage? Might want to check the two basics in auto shop 101. Is it getting fuel? Is it getting spark? That was what I was taught. Just my two cents worth!
