Hello all, I have seen some hid headlight retro fits on here but does anyone have any experience with installing the hid bulbs in the headlights or does that really not work. I found a company that offers the bulbs at a pretty good price.

What are the thoughts on this, I would rather not change out the whole headlights unless I have to. I want to do hid bulbs in the headlights and fog lights if it will work and look good.

Thanks guys for all the input past and present.

You can get the single ones that will do just low beam or they have ones that will do both.

Is it actually a high low, or is the DDM style where its a servo that retracts the bulb to "tilt" the beam?

The reason i ask is, my gf bought a durango with tinted headlights (not my thing) and you absouleutly could not see anything with stock bulbs, so i installed the DDM high/low kit, 55watt 8k. and it was just a servo that caused the bulbs to move rearward to move the beam

there wasnt much of a difference
