Hi all,
I have an 02 XLT 4.6 I need to get a trailer plug and a hitch ball put on. I found what looks like a hook up in the stock wire harness under the truck. The back bumper says 400lb tounge and 4000 trailer should handle a UHAUL 4x8 trailer to move my kid home from college.

I need to know;
Best 2" ball?
Light harness (to a 4 prong)?

Thanks
Jeff

Any 2" ball will work as long as the weight ratting on the ball is enough. Check your local auto parts place for a harness for the lights. If they don't have it, call a uhaul dealer that puts on hitches.
