How to fix non-working ignition/headlight chime

My new-to-me '97 Expedition does not chime when the keys are left in the ignition or when the headlights are left on (when opening the door). I don't see a fuse diagram anywhere that addresses this. Anyone got a fix?

Also, the dome light does not light up when the driver door is opened, although it works just fine when the passenger door is opened. Related? Another fix?

check fuse #15 under dash 5A fuse
dome light problem is most likely door switch

a bad drivers door switch will also prevent some of chimes from working

I just tried my chimes and the key in ign. and lights on only work when the drivers door is opened the chimes don't work with any other door
replace you drivers door switch and you should be good to go

Well, #15 didn't work. I'll try the door switch.
