Symptoms:
As I am driving and take a bend in the road at speed I will start to hear a "howl" sounding like it is coming from the front wheels. then as the truck straightens out it will eventually go away. So I am thinking as I am turning it is putting pressure on the hub and then the pressure lessens as it straightens out.
Am I on the right track? If so, any links to a good supplier?

My truck has 96K on it and as far as I know they are original

I just noticed that you are in Mass. Where abouts? I am in Rochdale right outside of Worcester.

It could very well be wheel bearings but before I started throwing parts at it, have you removed the wheel and spun the hub or checked for slop?
It could even be your tires, have you tried rotating them to see if the noise is still there?

I bought my Hub assembly for $180 at Autozone and it was timken brand.
You should buy timken, Im told their are quality bearings. And so far my Expy has been good with them.

I just did my front hubs about a month ago. Truck rolls down the road so much smoother now.
