same with my mom!!! you can fight it! just write a letter to someone. i forgot. my parents did it to the cop that said it was my moms fault. it was a hit and run. the only thing is is that my mom did hit the lady in the rear, then she took off. so the cop was like, YOUR FAULT! $1000 up a year and 3 points on my moms licence for 3 years. like really?
