I'm hooking up a post supercharger IAT sensor and need +5VDC with ignition on only. From the engine compartment. This is for a 2014 Expedition so I can't use the MAF as that is frequency driven.
The Ambient sensor in the nose is on all the time so it too is no good.
Any ideas?

Pcm's supply a 5v ref signal to various components. I don't have the diagrams for the 14's but could give you a few wire colors to check that is used on older models.

Update:
i looked at the 2007 diagrams, if Ford didn't change the cooling fan wiring that would be the only one I would consider pulling the ref 5v from. But since they have gone to the CAN system, you are better off not tapping into any of the existing wiring. If you add to the high speed network you will probably end up replacing an expensive harness. Better to add an additional circuit that provides the 5v needed.

What voltage range can the sensor tolerate?
