After selling my 00 xpedition EB 19 months ago we went with a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for my wife to drive. Had enough of it so sold it a few weeks back and yesterday picked up a very nice 03 Eddie Bauer 4x4 w/Navigation. It only has 115K on the clock and has nearly option on it. Mechanics, body, and interior are in excellent condition. It has the normal electrical quirks that the all eventually have.
Door adjar sensor problem - working on spraying the latches with silicone to see if I can fix it.
TPMS not working - will have a new set of tires put on next week and maybe that will solve it. Currently has two different brands of tires but same size
Back up sensor system not working don't know on it but will research
A couple of stereo issue I'll post in a separate thred. Once the rain clears out here in SW Colorado (monsoons) I'll post a couple of pics. Glad to be back, been going thru the threads and already resolved a couple of issues.
Thanks!

putting new tires on the truck wont solve the problem for the TPMS...are you getting an error message for it? you will either need to get them reset or buy new TPMS for about $140-$160 and have them installed...then set

6K-Watts, thanks I reset but it comes back when I start it again. Is there any way to isolate which wheel it is?

The batteries in the sensors only last 5-7 years you could have bad sensors. There is no way to replace the batteries, you just replace the sensors.

I bought the Orange Electronic TPMS sensors, the price was very reasonable. I haven't had any problems with them. I just can't remember where I got them.

Go online and look at any of the tire pressure sensor sellers and manufacturers and the they all say about the same thing. The senors have a battery saving feature that shuts them down when the vehicle isn't moving. I think i remember reading that they ping the receiver once every 3 or 4 hours when the vehicle is stationary. When the vehicle is rolling the sensors report more often. It would not be unusual for sensor batteries to last longer but the manufactures say 5 - 7 years to cover themselves. Anything longer than that is just bonus time.
