Inlet heater hose 1997 ford expedition

Which of the 2 heater hoses is inlet to install Prestone flush tee?

p.s. this a googled pic of ford expy 98, I have 97 since both a very simlar. Thanks.

Don't know if this helps but the Ford Service manual shows the inlet hose having a screw type hose clamp. It is fed from a line that has a 90 degree bend in it near the hose. The outlet has a spring type hose clamp and appears to be at the end of the intake manifold, feeding into a straight pipe.
