It rained a lot...and I somehow have water sloshing INSIDE my driver side doors???

I pulled the bump stops at the bottom out and a steady stream of water came out like from a tap. Not a trickle but like several liters.

How is it getting in there and what do I do so it doesn't next time?

This is a picture of an F150 but check to see if the drains at the bottom of the door are clogged. On all cars and trucks, a decent amount of water gets inside a door usually past the lower window seal since it’s not super tight for the glass to move. They all have drains to let it out the bottom.

As shown above, pull out the plastic drain hole covers, which get clogged resulting in a door full of water, and just leave them out.

The same thing happens to the rear driver's side door on my 2011. I have to clean the weep holes every few months. Someone posted good advice on another thread to use compressed air if you have a compressor and blow it in each hole. It helps break things up inside there.

When the water drains, you may have some “gunk” clog the hole.

You can use the non-clasp end of a sturdy plastic zip tie to dislodge the gun, and the plastic tie will not scratch the paint.
