i trade/sell cars a lot. just got ahold of my 3rd expedition last night.
My first was a 2005 hunter green king ranch edition (sold it)
my second was a 2003 eddie bauer edition (sold it)
i was driving a sport trac and got tired of not having enough room or power so i traded (even trade) for an 03 xlt last night. i will have to say, i have always been the kind of guy who likes to have the bells and whistles (dvd player, leather seats, bucket 2nd row, etc.) but with this one, it is the basic of basic model xlt but for some reason, i am in love with it. this is one of the first cars i've owned with cloth interior but its very comfortable. it is also the 4.6 instead of the 5.4 which is a first for me. anyone have any experience with the 4.6 (good or bad)? i have included a few pictures of the first modification i made. i took the middle seat out to make a 2nd row bucket seat.
my next things to do are going to be to put a brush guard, all terrain tires, and possibly some dual exhaust (to gain a little gas mileage)
anyways, look forward to getting to know you guys on the forum.
