This is a forum for expedition owners. This guy/gal buys a new expedition and you come here saying gap gang but refuse to explain or give any advice/details? Not very welcoming.

Alex Taylor - I just bought a new to me '23 Expy Max Limited 4x4. Just saw this post while researching floor mats. I'm wondering about your Sync 4A . . . . Can you change the colors of the Ambient Lighting? Can you roll down all windows with the fob? My 15" screen doesn't seem to have some of the functions that other sync 4a have.

VERY Beautiful Expy that you have there! Never had a silver car but love that color! We just bought a new 2024 Expedition Max Limited w/ HD Trailer Tow and it has the same interior color as yours, only ours is dark blue metallic color body and has a 12" screen with the knobs and buttons below it for the radio and A/C controls. We totally love our new Expy too! I think the Limited 22" wheels are just beautiful too and Won't be changing those. But may soon replace the Pirelli Scorpions w/ Michelins to get a smoother ride. Haven't decided on that yet?

I also totally agree with you that the lighter interior color is a mood up-swinger for us, as well. This 2024 is a replacement for our 2012 Expy EL Limited (white/tan interior) that we bought new and just now sold. Our 2012 did ride a little smoother and only slightly quieter than this 2024 but this 2024 EcoBoost easily out powers and outperforms our old 2012 V8. We have NOT towed our 7000# (loaded) 3 horse drag trailer yet to see how the EcoBoost pulls that, but I don't think it's going to be any problem. In our case, I don't think we are going to need 600HP, though. It seems to have plenty of huevos as it is, right now!

Being older now, it is a little harder for us to learn all the digital screen controls, etc. but we are quickly getting up to speed and figuring things out. We just love all the convenience stuff like folding mirrors, 3 different driver setting buttons (but wish it adjusted the inside rear-view mirror also), auto emergency/parking brake release, lane keeping and adaptive cruise control. The interior ambient lighting is also nice and seems more welcoming too. The only partially negative thing we see is that this 2024 has black floor carpet and shows every single spec of dust or dirt on it. Our 2012 had tan carpet everywhere and was much more forgiving than black, between the weekly car washes/vacuums. Our 2024 Expy also came w/ black rubber floor liners (+ black carpet matts) but we don't need those in SoCal much. My daughter took those for her 2024 Expy for their snow ski trips to Mammoth Mountain, here in CA.
