1. Put all FOB's on one key - They do not all have to be the same FOB.
(I used one from the 2004 Explorer and one from a 1998 Explorer)
2. Get in car, shut door and UNLOCK DOORS WITH THE BUTTON ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR.
3. Put Key in Ignition with ALL key FOBS hanging from it on ONE key Ring
4. TURN KEY TO "ON" Position and BACK TO "OFF" Position 8 Times ~> ON THE 8th TIME, LEAVE IT IN THE "ON" Position (Must be done within 10 seconds)
***The Doors will lock and unlock Automatically and the car will "DING" while you do the next step.
5. On each FOB, PUSH both the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the SAME TIME, ONE FOB AT A TIME.
6. Turn the key back to the off position and your DONE!

i had the factory remote start in my 05 Ranger. the one for the Ranger is the same as the Ex. I loved it, and with the horn going off as well as the siren if the alarm was activated, that thing would wake the dead. you can get the remote start with or without the alarm feature. when it said it was good for 500 feet, it meant it. more like 700 feet. :pepper:

supposely...this is the latest and greatest from ford and is good for 2000ft...i have the p/n at work...have to did it up
