either you have a bad key or there has been the max number of keys already programed From the video you tried to program the key correctly. Also the procedure is in your owners manual

Ok thanks. Is there any way to find out how many keys are programmed? I just bought it recently and have no idea how many keys were made.

you could take it to a locksmith that does programing That will cost you I know where I am at it cost about $50 to have them program two keys. They can also erase all keys and reprogram your keys. I would suspect that you most likely got a bad key. Where did you buy it from? I have purchased blanks from e-bay and they were ford keys for my year and model with no problems.

Looking at the key that you are trying to program I would say that its not for your year and model and that is most likely your problem

there are some on e-bay that are honest and then some just want to make a sale and will tell you anything you want to know again I would suspect the key as it is totally different than the other two You would be best to get a key and separate remote

I thought it would be a nice upgrade to a all-in-one key. When I ordered this I also ordered two of the fob clickers. Im out $14 if I don't get the key to work.

I have that same key for my 2005 Expedition and it works fine. I have two of them and I programmed the key and the remote portion with no problem. Not sure why yours started the vehicle one time and wouldn't do it the second time.

Yea..its weird. I hope someone can explain what's going on. Only thing I can think of is its maxed out to 8 programmed keys. So id like to know if anyone who has 8 keys programmed, would they be willing to test it out, and try programming a 9th key? :)

If that were the case, I don't think it would have started the first time after you programmed it.

My instructions say to turn each of the programmed keys to the on position for a minimum of 3 seconds but no more than 10 seconds then turn it off insert the next programmed key turn on for 3 seconds no more than 10 seconds then turn it off. Then insert the new key and to the same on for 3 seconds and then off. Then try to start the engine with the new key.

I noticed from your video that you only turned the keys on and off very quickly - maybe that's the problem.
