The keyless entry panel on my 2014 Expedition EL Limited is coming up. I have tried pushing it back down again, but that did not work. Does anyone know how to get this back down?

I beleive that trim piece is held in place with double-sided tape. I know the vertical piece is.

Hmmmm. I don't see any double sided tape in there, but I will take a closer look. Thanks.

I own a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 - purchased new.

The belt line moulding on the RR door began to pop-up. It was replaced under warranty (each of the 4 doors have this molding - the LF door has the key pad). The dealer said it was held to the door with clips. No mention of double sided tape.

The poster above said the vertical piece is held on with double sided tape. That is false.

After purchase, at 100 miles, a rock struck the LF shiny black vertical moulding on the door and put a large scratch in it. I ordered a new one from the dealer and had it installed. That moulding required that the inner door panel and window channel rubber moulding be removed to replace it. The vertical piece is held to the door frame by rivets.

If your vehicle is no longer under warranty, you may have to order a new belt line moulding with the keypad. You could then examine it to determine exactly where the clips are.

That is what I suspected. I have a post warranty contract, but there is a deductible, so I guess I will wait until something else needs repair. This is not really affecting anything and nobody but me will notice it. Thanks for the response.
