Kicking noises?! Any other symptoms or description?

Ignition miss?! Is the motor running smoothly at the time?

Possible suspension issue. Have you checked you rear control arms? They have been known to rust out, at least in the snow belt, and this could lead to misalignment of the rear and cause all kinds of issues.

Really could use some more info because I can think of a 100 potential things.

Is it something you can feel or just hear? Can you feel it in the steering wheel? Does it feel like its coming from the rear? Is the motor effected?? etc.. etc...

Be as descriptive as possible.

I'm stuck trying to imagine what a kicking noise would sound like...confused.gif

Kicking a tree? Kicking a dead cow? Kicking a car door? Kicking a brick wall? Barefoot? Sandles? Rubber boots? Ballet slippers?

Had a similar issue in the wife's durango. No noticeable drop in rpms. Took a couple of months and it finally got bad enough to see the rpms fluctuating. Started acting up on flat roads too. Turns out the catalytic converter is partially plugged. I will be fixing this on Saturday along with adding a flowmaster. Not saying this is the issue but it is a possibility. Keep us posted.

My educated guess would be a coil pack is starting to die, second guess would be fuel pump.
