KN air filter?

Hey all, I'm doing alot more towing with my expy, 5.4l eb. would a KN air filter help with a little more gusto while towing? thanks ofr any advice..

Well I have towed quite a few cargo utility trailers with my expedition. Every little thing you can do to improve performance can be helpful. However, a filter will likely not make too noticeable of a difference. I would not be too concerned with gusto when towing. To me it is more about safety and getting to where you want to go with everything in one piece. That's just me though.

you wouldnt even notice it...you'll only notice difference on throttle response...and thats without the trailer

will help minimally but if you want the best bang for the buck for towing I would look into a programmer, even one with a custom tune for towing. I have the edge CS set on level 2 (towing) and can tow my 17ft boat with my 37s with no problem at all.....
