Guys,

It's been a long time since I've cracked my manual so I'm asking the question. I was driving another one of those 250 miles days flipping from the Beatles channel to a comedy channel....pain in the ass since I have them located on two different Sirius save #'s.

Is there any way to flip to "last channel" like we can do with our TV?

Yeah, the simple things in life are most appreciated.....

I don't think it does. Aside from setting up memorized stations on the "home page", I don't recall any "Back" function like a TV remote has.

Sirius radio offers nothing that appeals to me. I listen almost exclusively to "Rock", and I can't stand the Beatles or the Grateful Dead. I found myself constantly changing stations, not necessarily looking for something I like, but more because I really didn't like what was playing. Best option for me was to simply fuggedaboutit.

On top of that, the Sirius TrafficLink doesn't work if you're physically in Virginia. I live about 2 miles from Maryland, and on occasion I'm forced to cross the bridge into that communist stronghold. About halfway across the bridge over the Potomac, the traffic data appears, and includes Virginia traffic info. Later, on returning to Virginia, all data is lost. I do, however, enjoy the Ski Report as I cruise the highways in July.

Sirius is wholly unable to figure that out. Other Sirius users in VA have made the same complaint, and all report that Sirius tech support recommends that a reset will fix it. It doesn't.

I didn't think there was but it seemed like a good question to put to the "brain trust".

You must be either down in Southern MD near the Benedict bridge or on the Eastern shore side and down near Cherrystone Campground? I have driven both many times on bike & car....and as far as the traffic link....download Waze into your phone, then bring that up on the main display....my girlfriend did it for me....WORLDS better than the Ford program or the Sirius traffic links!!

I'm in Dahlgren, right off hwy 301.

I've been a Wazer for a while, but the Iphone interface doesn't support Waze on Sync3.

Ahhh, the infamous iphone "bug" again. I never used Waze till she showed me how good it was compared to the Ford, Sirius AND my Google maps program on my android. We recently took a trip up to Connecticut and I had the Ford program running, swapping back and forth with the Sirius, then on each of our phones I had my maps program and she had Waze on her iphone.

By FAR, Waze was better at anticipating traffic backups, accidents, police....e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! When you watch them all side by side, it's incontrovertible...Waze is best and I'm now a believer!

I have heard that there is some iphone glitch that doesn't allow a direct connection but Lokiwolf might know of a fix if there is one. I know that he was suggesting a different interface for some but I'm not sure what programs it had to do with but you might want to reach out and ask him.

Jeff - Is the Waze option working with Sync 3 now? I knew it was planned - will have to check in the AM. Too lazy to go back down to the garage.

Apple Car Play only supports Apple Maps at this time...that is not a Ford or Sync3 limitation, but an Apple one.

I'm an Android user - Galaxy S8. Had the Google maps working but was not impressed. I will try Waze.

When we travel, I put navigation on the main screen, and my wife has Waze on the tablet. I use navigation because I can't hear what Waze says when I'm driving and I'm constantly asking, "What did Waze say?" After 50 or 100 times it gets repetitious. I really like Waze and wish I could put it on my main screen in the truck. Waze has saved us a ton of time by detouring us around problems. We don't leave home without it.

I've had good success with the IPhone Maps app, even with the re-routing around traffic jams. Only 1 time did it take us to the edge of the planet and then say "Make a U-turn". Gee, thanks.
