New to the forum. While driving to Florida from NY my stability control light came on with the car skidding. I have only 82000 miles. When I scanned for codes it came up lateral accelerometer sensor. Since I work for our local Ford dealer I called one of the A techs who’s said there is no issue with drivability and the problem is in the airbag module located under the front console. I was able to order the module and this week I put it in and programmed the VIN. Problem was not fixed because instead of the sensor being in the module as in most, this truck has a separate one. Now I went to order and Oh, it’s obsolete. Does anyone have any recommendations as what to do or where to have it repaired? TIA
